HOW TO GET THERE
Abaco and Elbow Cay are a short hop from the US or Nassau. You fly
into Marsh Harbour, the main town on Abaco from West Palm Beach, Ft.
Lauderdale, Orlando, Miami or Nassau. A list of airlines is below.
From the airport you take a short cab ride to the ferry docks. Alburys
Ferry runs regularly scheduled ferries to Hope Town or you can charter
directly to our dock. ( Their numbers are 242-365-6010 or 367-3147
- or have your cab driver call them on the VHF to arrange a ferry.
Our caretaker can be hailed via VHF by the ferry driver as you are
on your way over to Elbow Cay from Marsh Harbour ( a trip of 20 minutes)
and they will meet you at the house or pick you up in town.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
GOLF CARTS
Golf carts are the preferred method of getting around our 6 mile long
island. There are several rental agencies on the island offering both
electric and gas carts. Island
Cart Rentals offers both. We can assist you in the rentals
of carts and boats.
BOATS
We would highly recommend renting a boat. Elbow Cay is a great jumping
off point to explore the diverse and visually spectacular chain
of islands collectively known as The Abacos. Our waters are some
of the clearest and most beautiful in the world. You can fish, visit
other settlements, find deserted beaches and picnic or snorkel on
numerous reefs including National Sea Parks. There are several rental
companies listed at the house. If you wish to rent ahead of your
arrival, we have always had good luck with Sea Horse Rentals at
242-367-2513.
